Single tooth Implants

Single tooth Implants

A single tooth implant is a permanent, three-part dental solution to replace a missing tooth, consisting of a titanium post (root) inserted into the jawbone, an abutment (connector), and a custom crown. It functions and looks like a natural tooth, prevents bone loss, and does not require grinding down adjacent healthy teeth.

Components

A titanium screw (implant) acts as the root, topped with an abutment and a porcelain or ceramic crown.

Procedure

A surgeon makes a small incision in the gum, inserts the implant into the jawbone, and allows it to fuse with bone over 3–6 months (osseointegration) before attaching the final crown.

High success rates (~98%), feels like a natural tooth, easy to maintain with regular brushing/flossing, and prevents shifting of surrounding teeth. Candidates for this procedure must have healthy gum tissue and enough jawbone to support the implant.

02
